Description of program: 1 year full fellowship with clinical hands-on training for 9 months and 3 months work in the lap (pelvi-trainer, animal models).

Optionable: 3 to 6 months laparoscopy/retroperitoneoscopy-fellowship including training at the pelvi-trainer and clinical hands-on training

Clinical volume per year:

Percutaneous procedures	100 (including needle-nephrostomies)
Ureteroscopic procedures	150
ESWL procedures	500
Laparoscopic procedures	250

Laboratory In vitro-models with complete armamentarium for studies on laparoscopic suturing and endourological training.
Optionable access to animal models at University of Heidelberg.
Room of lab: 24 m2

No PhD-system in Germany

Housing on the campus is provided (about 200 $/month)

No calls at night (except for German fellows)
